WHAT IS TEJ
Tej is a traditional Ethiopian drink that accompanies many feasts and celebrations. It is an alcoholic beverage made by fermenting honey with water and Gesho (Ethiopian Hops). It is considered special because of its significance to the people, culture and history of Ethiopia.
This delicious honey wine was historically enjoyed by Ethiopian royalty. It was served to kings and queens as well as the Emperors and Empresses of the nation.
